The story of ShashlikUz began in 2014 with a single restaurant and a simple yet principled idea — to grill shashlik the way we would for ourselves. No shortcuts, no compromises on quality, with respect for the meat, the fire, and the traditions of Uzbek cuisine.
From the very beginning, honesty toward the product defined the concept. Selected meat, proper marination, live fire, and hands-on cooking became standards the brand still upholds today. Early guests came through recommendations, and word of mouth became the main driver of growth.
In the following years, ShashlikUz evolved into a network. New locations opened in Samarkand and beyond, each adapted to its setting while preserving unified kitchen and service standards. Urban restaurants for regular visits appeared alongside countryside formats designed for family leisure.
